YOU CAN HELP
Changing Lives one home at a time
CASA of Madison County has volunteer projects that cover a wide range of interests from gardening to building to one-on-one companionship. The time commitment for each project varies, but most of our projects can be completed in an afternoon or morning. No advanced skills are required for the majority of our projects, and we have opportunities for individuals and groups. Training is provided for some services. We look forward to adding you to our team!
Volunteers provide transportation to necessary medical appointments for our clients who are 60 years old and older and are able to get in and out of a vehicle with minimal assistance. Click image for more information.
Volunteers, groups and individuals, work in our CASA Vegetable Garden to grow fresh, organic produce for our aging clients, 60 years old and older. Volunteers then deliver the harvest to our clients who have a need for access to fresh produce. Click image for more information.
Groups of volunteers work together on the first Saturday in November to prepare homes of our neighbors who are 60 years old and older. Temporary and minor fixes are done to the homes in an effort to keep the homes warm during the colder months and potentially lower utility costs.
Many of our clients do not have family or friends living nearby and could use a friendly visit or just a phone call to see how they are doing. Volunteers can connect with clients in need of a visit or just someone to talk to. Click image for more information.
