CASA Community Garden

The CASA Community Garden is one of the oldest community gardens, volunteer driven in the state of Alabama.  The Garden is located at 4725 Bob Wallace Avenue and is a garden that is planted, maintained, harvested and distributed entirely by volunteers. All produce from the garden is delivered to our elderly and homebound clients throughout Madison County.  Stop by anytime during the hours posted below to lend a hand!

Description: plant, weed, and harvest produce at the CASA Community Garden

Good for: Group or individuals ages middle school and up, Ideal for civic organizations, corporate, church, school, and family groups; perfect for day of service.

When: work done year round, weekday or weekend

Time Commitment: garden work shifts range from 1 to 4 hours

What you need: ability to bend, squat, lift

To bring: Water, sunscreen, insect repellant. Volunteers should wear close-toed shoes. CASA will provide all gardening supplies (tools, gloves, etc.)
